L.A.B return to Hawaii for two shows with reggae icons Iration. After selling out their first ever Hawaiian show at The Republik in May 2023 and with their new album L.A.B VI set for release in Feb 2024, New Zealand’s L.A.B will take the stage playing a mix of songs from their new album alongside classics from their deep back catalog.

After winning Best Group, Best Song & Best Album two years in a row at the New Zealand Music Awards, taking out Best Song at the 2023 Rolling Stone Awards & being voted NZ's Best Live Act by Radio NZ, L.A.B are on fire.

L.A.B’s groove blends an eclectic mix of reggae, blues, funk, rock and electronic - all combining to create a sound entirely their own. Formed by Brad Kora, L.A.B comprises his brother Stu Kora, Ara Adams-Tamatea, Miharo Gregory & frontman Joel Shadbolt. Featuring former members of two of New Zealand’s premier acts Kora & Katchafire, L.A.B have made their name on the live stages of NZ & Australia.

2023 has seen them perform a sold-out tour of Australia alongside their first sold-out performances in the USA at venues such as the Roxy & House of Blues. The USA run was capped off with a performance at the iconic California Roots Festival & a sold-out debut Hawaiian show at The Republik. The band have recently performed their first European shows with sell-outs at Amsterdam’s Paradiso & London’s O2 Forum.

Iration is an alternative/reggae group originally formed in Isla Vista, CA. Their deep-rooted island influence and Hawaii upbringing is fused with elements of rock, pop and soul to create smooth, uplifting original sounds. The group is made up of members Micah Pueschel (Guitar/Lead Vocals), Adam Taylor (Bass), Joseph Dickens (Drums), Cayson Peterson (Keyboard/Synth), Micah Brown (Guitar/Vocals), and Drake Peterson (Trumpet, Keys).

After almost two decades creating music, Iration has racked up more than 1 billion streams, topped Billboard charts and established themselves as one of the most beloved reggae bands to emerge from the SoCal scene.

After riding the wave of their 2020 release Coastin’, their 8th studio album, Daytrippin released in October 2023. The album’s title track “Daytrippin” released in June accompanied with a music video featuring desert visuals and a slightly dazed storyline from Joshua Tree.

“Daytrippin is a return to their roots. We set out to strike a balance between polished studio production and the energy of a live show. We leaned on our reggae and rock influences to find a natural evolution from earlier albums like Time Bomb and Hotting Up,” says Iration lead vocalist, Micah Pueschel.
