GETTING HERE
VENUE: HOTA Outdoor Stage

Never been to HOTA before? We’re easy to find on Bundall Road, just a stone’s throw from Surfers Paradise. Parking, including wheelchair accessible parking, is available but limited. Traffic management staff will be in place to direct cars, ride share, taxis and buses to the most appropriate location. Once the carpark is full, only off street parking outside of the HOTA precinct will be available – Please ensure you arrive with enough time to park and access the venue.
ENTRY
Entry is via the Main Entry Ramp of the Outdoor Stage or via the Entry next to the HOTA Gallery.
VIP Ticket Holders have a dedicated entry lane at the HOTA Gallery – See our staff for directions.
Please ensure you have your tickets and ID ready. On entry, tickets will be scanned and a bag search will be conducted, ID will be checked and wristband issued to those who are over 18 years old.
This event is in ‘All Standing Concert Mode’ and there are certain conditions and prohibited items applicable.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING
• Clear, soft plastic water bottles up to 600ml max. Water bottles must be sealed. You may be asked to remove the lids upon entry for safety reasons.
• Empty, clear, soft plastic water bottles up to 600ml max for filling at our water bubblers. You may be asked to remove the lid, depending on the event.
• Ponchos.
• Small bag (up to A4 paper size).
WHAT YOU CANNOT BRING
• Chairs.
• Picnic rugs/blankets/pillows.
• BYO alcohol.
• Liquids other than water. Water must be in a sealed, soft, clear 600ml max plastic bottle.
• Food.
• Bags over A4 paper size.
• Glass or metal (including cans and water bottles).
• Umbrellas (even if it is raining).
• Sunshades, tents, and tables.
• Selfie and go-pro sticks.
• Metal cutlery and knives
• Professional cameras, drones and video recording equipment.
• Pets (Registered Service Animals allowed)
• Eskies or cooler bags.
• Prams and strollers.
• Trolleys/Carts.
• Weapons or anything that could be interpreted as a weapon.
• Aerosols.
• Bicycles, skateboards, and scooters.

EARLY ARRIVALS
The entry gate and queue for the event site provides no shelter from sun, wind and rain, and waiting in this location for extended periods could be challenging for some attendees.
There are no nearby toilet facilities outside of the venue and you will not be granted early access for use of the facilities.
Access to water and other food & beverage outlets is limited before the advertised time.
For these reasons and for your safety we ask that you do not arrive too early to the venue or wait for extended periods.
TICKETS
This event is ticketed by Flicket. The HOTA Home of the Arts Box Office, may not be able to assist with ticket purchases or enquiries, however Flicket staff alongside Venue staff will be available on entry in the pop up signed ticketing marquee should assistance be required.
OUTDOOR VENUE
This event is outdoors and you will be exposed to the elements and weather conditions and uneven grassed terrain. We recommend you assess the weather forecast and be prepared for all weather conditions as you may be exposed to sun, wind and rain.
Consider applying sunscreen, bring a poncho and wear comfortable closed shoes.

New Zealand’s L.A.B are set to return to the Gold Coast this coming summer, celebrating the release of their new album L.A.B VI. This show will see them return for the first time in over three years, bringing with them fellow Kiwis Tiki Taane (One Man Band) & Corrella.

Following on from the release of their number one new album L.A.B VI, 2024 has seen the band sell out shows in NZ and the United States already. The band will return to Australia in February for a run of shows that will see them playing tracks from their much-loved catalogue, including tracks from L.A.B VI for the first time in Australia. Their last tour in 2023 sold-out shows across the country, with these shows expected to repeat.

A true legend of NZ music, Tiki Taane will join L.A.B with his One Man Band show which is nothing short of electric, reimagining a catalogue which features hit after hit in his own unique style.

This show will also see Corrella making the journey to the Gold Coast. With a new album set to be released before the end of 2024, don’t miss this chance to catch one of NZ music’s brightest new stars as part of this great lineup.

After selling out their last visits to the Gold Coast, this show will give audiences a chance to catch the finest music NZ has to offer in one of the GC’s finest venues. Don’t miss L.A.B’s return to Australia this coming summer.
