After their impressive summer run, Corrella is thrilled to announce their upcoming North Island headline tour. Performing Friday 17 May in Mount Maunganui at Totara St, Saturday 25 May at Auckland’s Powerstation and Friday 31 May in Wellington at San Fran.
Following a series of sensational summer shows that left audiences craving more, the winter shows come off the back of a hugely successful summer for Corrella, playing shows across Australia and New Zealand.
Known for their infectious energy and captivating melodies, Corrella has been setting stages ablaze and captivating audiences with their sun-soaked reggae-inspired sound.
This run of shows will be their biggest headline tour to date and is their first series of headline shows since their sold-out ROAD FROM 26 album release tour in 2023. They will play Mount Maunganui’s Totara St alongside galactic-funk band Black Comet, and Wellington’s San Fran will see them supported by Pōneke locals Valley Kids. Auckland will see them play at the iconic Powerstation, with support from hip-hop royalty DJ Sir-Vere, plus special guests to be announced.
Corrella is gearing up to take their music to new heights in 2024. In a groundbreaking achievement, their hit song ‘Blue Eyed Māori’ has shattered records, surpassing the previous benchmarks set by renowned artists like L.A.B. ‘Blue Eyed Māori’ has been sitting at Number One in the NZ charts for over 30 weeks straight, and 38 weeks in the Top 20. The song's infectious rhythm has resonated with audiences across New Zealand, solidifying Corrella's position as one of the nation's most exciting musical acts.
March will see Corrella release the LIVE AT ROUNDHEAD STUDIOS EP this month, a new release that showcases the band's live sound and presents four new live versions of tracks from their catalogue.
As anticipation builds, Corrella eagerly prepares to embark on a winter tour that promises to be nothing short of spectacular.
See Corrella live as they hit the road in May for their headline tour taking on Wellington’s San Fran, Tauranga’s Totara Street and Auckland’s Powerstation, presented by Mai FM & Loop.
