WILD IDEAS – A CONSERVATION SYMPOSIUM

Join Wellington Zoo’s global conservation partners as they share their big ideas for global change.

Big Ideas for Global Change conservation symposium will run over two days and allows conservationists from around the world to share the opportunities, challenges and successes of their work on the ground in places as diverse as Brazil, Madagascar & Nepal.

We want to inspire and empower others by sharing our partners’ forward-thinking and big ideas for global change. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, embrace new ideas and take achievable actions away with them.

This event is suitable for conservation and environmental professionals, environmentalists, animal lovers, students and anyone interested in how Wellingtonians are supporting conservation efforts around the world.

Participants include representatives from 21st Century Tiger; Golden Lion Tamarin Association (Brazil); Cheetah Outreach (South Africa); Fauna & Flora International (Vietnam); Free The Bears; Proyecto Titi (Colombia); Red Panda Network (Nepal); TRAFFIC (South East Asia); Madagascar Fauna & Flora (Madagascar); Kea Conservation Trust; Jane Goodall Institute; Save the Tasmanian Devil Program; DOC and Zealandia.

Ticket price includes lunch and morning tea, as well as a donation to the Zoo’s conservation partners.

Concession (unwaged) tickets subject to availability. Please bring relevant ID to the event.
