It is our pleasure to present to you the brand new EP from Bailey Wiley, S.O.M.M.! With the seeds planted in Berlin, and further grown at home in Auckland, S.O.M.M., aka Still On My Mind is the sound of an artist pushing the boundaries of neo-soul.

Featuring singles ‘Take It From Me’ and the title track ‘Still On My Mind’, S.O.M.M. is eight tracks from an artist in every sense of the word. Combining the neo-soul/hip-hop sound which has gained Bailey a loyal following with more experimental electronic sounds, the EP displays the amazing vocal talent of Bailey Wiley.

Bailey was one of the crowd favourites in the recent run of Fly My Pretties shows, and we are so excited to be working with her on this awesome release!

This Saturday Bailey will also celebrate the release of her S.O.M.M. EP with a live performance at the first Loop Sessions - Live at Auckland’s Lot23!

And performing for the first time in Auckland will be Wellington-based trio, A Girl Named Mo! This awesome night will showcase two of NZ's finest up and coming musical talents all in the beautiful intimate setting of Lot23.

Another artist we are incredibly excited to be working with for 2016 is Miloux, who has also just released EP 1. The much-anticipated debut sees Miloux’s unique beats-based tracks presented alongside her incredible vocal talent, all of which has been entirely created by Miloux herself. Opening track 'Pocket' showcases Miloux's haunting jazz/soul vocals combining with diverse and interesting production, and has been hugely popular on Spotify, notching up over 20,000 plays in just a few weeks.

Chambres have continued the runaway release train with their brand new single ‘The Words’, the first taste of new material since their well-received Rings EP!

'The Words' again showcases uptempo electronic production from Greg Grassi coming with the dreamy vocals of Lucy McCarthny alongside guest vocalist Violet Kennedy. Polyrhythmic production and melancholy-dripped vocals, 'The Words' shows a new depth to the songwriting ability of Chambres.

Another new member to the ever growing Loop family, Kevin Mark Trail has debuted his first new material in nearly two years! ‘Roots’ begins the journey towards a brand new full length album, one which has been years in the making.

Dripping with soul, and featuring the unmistakable voice of Kevin, ‘Roots’ shows an artist who is, in the song’s own words, “as pure as pure can be”. An artist in the truest sense, Kevin has spent years traversing the globe, honing and crafting a truly international sound, influenced from all over. ‘Roots’ is the first taste of an incredible project from an incredible talent.

And the first release from 2016 in case you missed it was the new single from Anna Coddington, 'Release Me'! The yacht-rock inspired ‘Release Me’ features a driving rhythm sitting alongside a riff which lures in the listener. Performed live for the first time with Fly My Pretties early in 2016, ‘Release Me’ is another welcome addition to the stellar catalogue of Coddington.
