Here is all the important event & venue info you need to know before you go to plan for a fantastic evening at the L.A.B concert.
YOUR TICKET
Please make sure your tickets are named and downloaded before you arrive at the event. Printed tickets, screenshots or PDFs are all OK to scan for entry.
Note, any patron under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and be in the Alcohol Free Zone. In addition, any patron aged 16 or 17 must also be in the Alcohol Free Zone. If you need your tickets changed into the Alcohol Free Zone, please get in touch.

ENTRY
Please come early to avoid queues.
GENERAL ADMISSION (GATE A)Please enter via the Main Gate (GATE A) on Tongariro St (opposite the ANZ Bank).
VIP (GATE A)Please enter via the Main Gate (GATE A) on Tongariro St (opposite the ANZ Bank). You have a dedicated entry lane. This lane will be sign posted.
ALCOHOL FREE ZONE (GATE B)Please enter via the Main Gate (GATE B) on Tongariro St (opposite the ANZ Bank). Then follow the wayfinding signage towards the GATE B PATH entry which is located down Redoubt Rd. You will then follow the path and walk behind the main stage to enter the Alcohol Free Zone. PLEASE NOTE AFTER THE SHOW YOU WILL EXIT VIA GATE A with the rest of the crowd which means you can take part in the L.A.B band merchandise signing located at the internal Merchandise stand. If you leave before the end, you will need to exit the same way you entered. If you want to ensure you get great merchandise you can buy it before the show from 2pm outside GATES A & B.ACCESSIBILITY
Please enter via the Main Gate (GATE A) on Tongariro St (opposite the ANZ Bank). You must have an accessible ticket to gain entry to the accessibility area. All accessible patrons enter via Gate A. The accessible seating area is located down the path to the left of the stage.
To access disability parking, drive down Story Place, turn right onto Redoubt Street, and parking is available outside the Tennis Club. You must have a ticket mobility permit and an accessible ticket to use this carpark.

ROAD CLOSURES / TRAFFIC INFO
Redoubt Street will be closed Friday from midday through to midnight on Saturday. Delays are expected before the event. Major delays are expected once the event is over. It is expected that the mass exit will impact the area for up to an hour after the event.
We recommend parking a fair distance from the site and walking to the site as traffic around the event will be congested. If you are driving there is VERY LIMITED onsite parking available on Tongariro North Domain and the Mighty River Carpark.
Smoking, BBQ's and fires are not permitted in the carpark.

LIQUOR BAN INFO
Taupo has a permanent liquor ban operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That means you can not carry or consume alcohol when you are in public areas.
WEATHER
The weather is looking great! There is LIMITED SHADE at the venue. Put on your sunscreen and drink lots of water. There are free water stations located around the venue. The concert will proceed rain or shine unless the promoter decides it’s unsafe to perform. No shade or rain umbrellas are permitted in the venue.
MERCHANDISE
A range of official merchandise will be available for purchase. We have two merchandise stalls. One Merchandise tent is located outside MAIN GATE A which will open from 2pm to approximately 7pm. A second Merchandise tent is located inside the venue at the top of the hill which will open from 3pm to 10pm.

Please be aware that Loop Live and its representatives reserve the right to request patrons to present any clothing, bags, and other carried items for searching, including being subject to a pat down and/or a scanner search before entering. We will be wanding all patrons and searching all bags so do come early to avoid queues!
Camping chairs, blankets and chilli bins, picnic baskets and cooler bags are allowed, there will be a specific area for you to sit with these. This area is behind the delay towers at the upper section of the hill/bowl.
Liquid of any kind is prohibited. Only empty PLASTIC bottles will be allowed in at entry. There will be a number of free water stations where you will be able to fill up your bottle. Metal or Glass water bottles will not be allowed into the event - please leave these at home.
Prohibited items include cans or glass of any kind, Strictly NO alcohol, branded or commercial food and drinks, including takeaways, metal utensils, cutlery.

To assist with the security process we recommend you avoid bringing bags where possible. Small bags (40cm x 30cm or under) are permitted only - Large bags and backpacks will be denied at entry. Chillibins, cooler bags and picnic baskets are permitted for FOOD ONLY.
Patrons deemed too intoxicated by security will be turned away at entry to ensure a comfortable and friendly show for all event goers, please do not preload before the event. No refunds will be given for patrons that are refused entry due to intoxication.
The health and safety of all attendees is our number one priority. If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you stay home. Please be respectful of all other patrons, including those who may wish to take extra health precautions.
If you refuse to present any of the requested items for searching, you will be denied entry.
Please bring suitable clothing, it can be hot in the day and cold in the evening.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
Here is a list of all prohibited items. If in doubt, leave it at home. Any confiscated items will not be returned, replaced, or reimbursed.
Bags larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm (16”x12”) except Chillibins, cooler bags and picnic baskets for food only, Gang Patches, Colours & Paraphernalia, Video cameras and recording devices (this does not include mobile phones), Photographic devices with a lens larger than a standard watch face (not exceeding 4cm in diameter) and/or a removable lens, Prams and strollers, Selfie sticks, Gopros, Drones, Banners with poles, Signs larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm (16”x12”) with sticks and poles detached before entering the stadium, Cans or glass of any kind, Strictly NO alcohol or illicit drugs, Branded or commercial food and drinks, including takeaways, Metal utensils & containers, cutlery, etc, Fireworks, flares, lasers or flashlights, Knives, Tasers, Mace, Chains, Spurs or Studded Jewellery, Offensive weapons including, but not limited to, any object that may be used as a projectile such as glow sticks, balls, containers, etc., Air horns and loud hailers, Umbrellas or other sun/rain shelters, Furniture chairs or stools, Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters, Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs), and any other items deemed by Event management or the promoter to be illegal, dangerous or a nuisance to yourself or others.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
A MASSIVE range of catering outlets will be available along with bar service. You may bring a small amount of home prepared food such as sandwiches, baking or fruit, however commercially prepared food products, including takeaway meals or soft drinks are not permitted.
If you are under 25 and intending on purchasing alcohol, please ensure you bring ID - Accepted forms of ID are HAANZ 18+ card, NZ Drivers License or Passport.
Lids from all beverages (including water and soft drinks) will be removed on purchase to reduce the safety risk of full bottles being thrown.
No Liquids of any kind are permitted in the venue.
Stations with free water and cups will be available throughout the venue. You may bring a sealed bottle of water (up to 750ml capacity) or an empty water bottle (up to 750ml) to fill at the water stations. Please note that lids will be discarded on entry so please leave the lid at home if bringing a reusable bottle. No metal or glass bottles permitted.
