GETTING YOU L.A.B READY

Here is all the important event & venue info you need to know before you go to plan for a fantastic evening at the L.A.B concert.

YOUR TICKET

Please make sure your tickets are named and downloaded before you arrive at the event. Printed tickets, screen shots or PDFs are all OK for entry. Download your tickets and prepare before arriving.

*You can screenshot/download your tickets on your phone and show them when you arrive, or print your tickets and show them when you arrive. Either is OK.

If you have previously downloaded your tickets as a PDF, we ask that you re-download given the lineup change.

Note, this is an R18 Event. No person under the age of 18 will be permitted entry.

Please come EARLY to avoid queues.

ENTRY

Please enter via the main gate on Paru Paru Road. There will be only one gate for entry for this show. Please come early to avoid queues.

PARKING

There is extremely limited parking available on site on Paru Paru Road for ticket holders. Alternatively, we encourage patrons to use taxis/ride share services, or the Nelson eBus service.

ACCESSIBILITY

You must have an accessible ticket to gain entry to the accessibility area. Entry is via the main gate on Paru Paru Road.

Accessible parking will be available for any patrons with a valid permit, and is provided outside the Trafalgar Centre.

LIQUOR BAN INFO

Nelson city has a permanent liquor ban operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That means you can not carry or consume alcohol when you are in these areas.

WEATHER

This concert is taking place inside the Trafalgar Centre, and will proceed regardless of the weather.

MERCHANDISE

A range of official merchandise will be available for purchase until after the show (subject to stock availability).

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Patrons deemed too intoxicated by security will be turned away at entry to ensure a comfortable and friendly show for all event goers, please do not preload before the event. No refunds will be given for patrons that are refused entry due to intoxication.

The health and safety of all attendees is our number one priority. If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you stay home. Please be respectful of all other patrons, including those who may wish to take extra health precautions.

Please be aware that Venue management and its representatives reserve the right to request patrons to present any clothing, bags, and other carried items for searching, including being subject to a pat down and/or a scanner search before entering.

To assist with the security process we recommend you avoid bringing bags where possible. Small bags (30cm x 30cm or under) are permitted only - Large bags and Backpacks will be denied at entry.

If you refuse to present any of the requested items for searching, you will be denied entry.

Only empty PLASTIC bottles will be allowed in at entry. There will be a number of free water stations where you will be able to fill up your bottle. Metal or Glass water bottles will not be allowed into the event - please leave these at home.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Here is a list of all prohibited items. If in doubt, leave it at home. Any confiscated items will not be returned, replaced, or reimbursed.

Bags larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm (16”x12”); Video cameras and recording device (this does not include mobile phones); Photographic devices with a lens larger than a standard watch face (not exceeding 4cm in diameter) and/or a removable lens; Gang patches, colours or any gang paraphanalia; Glass of ANY KIND including perfume bottles, Prams and strollers; Selfie sticks, Go Pros, Drones; Banners with poles; Signs no larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm (16”x12”) with sticks and poles detached before entering the venue; iPads or Tablets; Cans or glass of any kind; Strictly NO alcohol or illicit drugs; Branded or commercial food and drinks, including takeaways; Metal water bottles, utensils and containers, cutlery, etc.; Chilly bins / Coolers; Dangerous goods; Fireworks, flares, lasers or flashlights; Weapons of any sort, Knives, Tasers, Mace, Chains, Spurs or Studded Jewellery; Offensive weapons including, but not limited to, any object that may be used as a projectile such as aerosol cans, glow sticks, balls, containers, etc.; Musical instruments, Air horns, megaphones etc; Umbrellas or other sun/rain shelters; Outdoor Furniture including chairs or stools; Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters; Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police or emergency service dogs); Unauthorised signage or promotional products; Any other items deemed by security or the promoter to be illegal, dangerous or a nuisance to yourself or others.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

A range of catering outlets will be available along with bar service. You may bring a small amount of home prepared food such as sandwiches, baking or fruit, however commercially prepared food products, including takeaway meals or soft drinks are not permitted.

If you are under 25 and intending on purchasing alcohol, please ensure you bring ID - Accepted forms of ID are HAANZ 18+ card, NZ Drivers License or Passport.

Lids from all beverages (including water and soft drinks) will be removed on purchase to reduce the safety risk of full bottles being thrown.

Stations with free water and cups will be available throughout the venue. You may bring a sealed bottle of water (up to 750ml capacity) or an empty water bottle (up to 750ml) to fill at the water stations. Please note that lids will be discarded on entry so please leave the lid at home if bringing a reusable bottle. No metal or glass bottles permitted.
