Think Inc. are proud to announce local science superstar Dr Michelle Dickinson as the special guest host for Neil deGrasse Tyson: A Cosmic Perspective. Auckalnd and Christchurch audiences will be witness to a personal presentation by Dr Tyson himself, a fire-side chat with Dr Dickinson, and an audience Q&A session to finish.
Host for the evening Dr Michelle Dickinson is an engineer passionate about her research fields of fracture mechanics and nanotechnology. As an academic at the University of Auckland and founder of the educational social enterprise Nanogirl Labs, Dr Dickinson believes in breaking both tiny engineering materials as well as stereotypes around science and engineering.
The recipient of a number of awards for her work in both her scientific field and the media, we are excited to have Dr Michelle Dickinson host A Cosmic Perspective, which will see Dr Tyson take Dr Dickinson and Kiwi audiences on a trip across the cosmos, and help make sense of some of our biggest questions.
