Two weeks are left for the BOOSTED Campaign to continue on the magic that was PLAY ON. The campaign will help with the professional recording of the music from the world first show, 400 years after the death of William Shakespeare.
On Sunday April 3rd, PLAY ON took the stage for a one-off show at Auckland's Pop-up Globe Theatre. The sold-out show was nothing short of magical, and presented 14 of Shakespeare's most well-loved soliloquies as songs, with a world-class local cast for the first time ever.
This one-of-a-kind project is truly a gift to the arts, and donations will help keep the magic alive. The campaign finishes on Tuesday May 17, and you can check out the BOOSTED campaign HERE.
Achieving our target will enable us to professionally record all 14 original songs from PLAY ON and create an album. If we surpass our goal all additional funds raised will be used to start the creation of an accompanying educational tool to promote Shakespeare in schools.
