While things are a tad quiet on the FMP live front, we've got members of the family who are taking an amazing new show across NZ!
Play On showcases Paul McLaney as a composer and features Esther Stephens, Julia Deans, Maisey Rika, Ria Hall, Laughton Kora, Mara TK, Andy Keegan, Richie Pickard & Jessica Hindin, Mahuia Bridgeman-Cooper & Rachel Wells (The Black Quartet).
In April 2016, FMP family member Paul McLaney assembled a collection of well-known musicians to perform Play On at Auckland’s Pop-up Globe Theatre. The show saw a collection of Shakespeare’s most well-known soliloquies performed as a song cycle by some of NZ’s most talented vocalists.
This year, the show will travel to the Christchurch Arts Festival, Taranaki Arts Festival and the Auckland Live International Cabaret Season, with each show featuring tracks from the album replicated by a range of musical talents, in some of the country’s finest venues.

And it's also less than a month until the release of The Complete Show!
Out August 18, String Theory (The Complete Show) will contain all 18 tracks recorded live over nine sold out shows across Auckland's Mercury Theatre and Wellington's Paramount Theatre in August 2016. The release will be available digitally, and for the first time since the release of the Live at Bats EP, on vinyl.
The double 180 gram LP contains five unreleased songs and showcases the amazing artwork from Jaime Robertson.
The String Theory cast represents a mix of longstanding FMP members, with some of the country’s brightest talents - including: A Girl Named Mo, Bailey Wiley, Ills Winter, Miloux, Ria Hall, James Coyle, Jarney Murphy, Iraia Whakamoe, Laughton Kora, Mike Fabulous, Nigel Patterson, Ryan Prebble, Tiki Taane, and of course Barnaby Weir.
