Tāmaki Makaurau indie-rockers PARK RD return with the new single, ‘Every Night’, their first new release for 2024. The single arrives in the midst of a busy summer of shows in NZ, and follows from their debut Australian shows in late-2023. 

An upbeat-slice of indie-pop, ‘Every Night’ sees the band wearing its influences proudly on its sleeves, embracing a sound similar to The 1975 & Spacey Jane. Jangly guitars from Angus Hampton-Carr & Leo Crawshaw-Bond combine, alongside a soaring call-and-response chorus ready-made for the live stage. The track also sees frontman Tom Chamberlain sharing vocal duties on the first verse with Crawshaw-Bond, before bringing home the back half of the track.

PARK RD have established themselves as one of NZ’s most-exciting new bands, on the back of two EPs, a series of singles, & a killer live show. The past 12 months has seen the band perform at festivals such as SXSW Sydney, Rhythm & Vines, Soundsplash & Le Currents, and support Milky Chance, Spacey Jane & Summer Thieves. ‘Every Night’ continues to lay the foundation for their debut album, set for release in mid-2024. This summer alone has seen them take to the mainstage at Rhythm & Vines, and perform at the Golden Lights Festival alongside Foals & Peggy Gou. As the band continue to hone their live show across Aotearoa, expect ‘Every Night’ to stay with you throughout the entire day.
