A producer of modern electronic excellence, Recloose managed to maintain his original Detroit flavors, but made room for the musical roots of his new, inspiring home of Aotearoa.

His second album Hiatus On The Horizon encompasses DIY live instrumentation, soul-fuelled vocals, Detroit-techno keys and bass lines and collaborations with some of New Zealand's finest musicians, including Hollie Smith and Fat Freddy’s Drop vocalist, Dallas Tamaira aka Joe Dukie.

The first single 'Dust' was voted as one of the three freshest titles in 2004 among listeners of Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide radioshow on BBC Radio One.
