Released in 2002, Loop Select 003 represents the third instalment in our series of time capsules of New Zealand’s creative culture.

It was the first Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa record to be released outside of New Zealand. A retrospective of recordings released at the time by Aotearoa's leading urban and electronic musicians, Loop Select 003 doubles as a comprehensive catch-up collectors' set for Loop's existing New Zealand audiences, and an introductory overview of some of our nation's talent for those based abroad.

The release featured 2 CDs with 30 tracks of New Zealand music.
