Studio whiz Jeremy Geor is 50Hz. His debut album in 1999 was a strictly cinematic drum & bass affair, on his follow up release Carbon released on LOOP in 2002 he broadened the scope to include elements of dub, downbeat, hip-hop, jazz and funk. An impressive guest list of singers and players enlisted from around Aotearoa helped flesh out a full live sound throughout the album.

'Seek Know More' is the lead single from Carbon, which features acclaimed singer Ladi6. Flown to Wellington to sing on a different album track altogether, Ladi's impromptu vocal for 'Seek Know More' fell into place at the last minute and has become a stand out piece from the album.

Released originally as a 12” and now available digitially, the single release features 4 remix versions from 50Hz as well as an international collaboration with UK talent Xantone Blacq, who's releases on Vinyl Junkies have been championed by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Patrick Forge, Pete Kruder and Rainer Truby to name a few.
